Filiberto Haritzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Estebano in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Aureliano Castel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montefiore FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Castel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Eneko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Castel to strike the kick off in the second half. Lázaro Bastiaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sixto Eneko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candido Tercero's late challenge caught a Montefiore FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Candido Tercero helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, C.A. COLON's Candido Tercero got a free kick in the 57th minute. Montefiore FC's Filiberto Haritzeder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Montefiore FC from getting a goal against them. Aureliano Castel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Estebano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Filiberto Haritzeder made a huge save. In the 82nd match minute, Montefiore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Giraldo to maneuver through the defense. Aureliano Castel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixto Eneko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Luciano Sanduru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Isias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Filiberto Haritzeder when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.A. COLON walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
