WISGOTHS's Delmar Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Marino in the 14th minute of play. Delmar Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Pinto in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Rumaldo in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amancio Nicholas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th match minute, Chuña AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Mateus to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Dante Errando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmar Ariando was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ovidio Vergaray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Amancio Nicholas made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Ovidio Vergaray struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Amancio Nicholas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WISGOTHS. The supporters of WISGOTHS booed when Chuña AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chuña AFC's zone, Honorato Rumaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Nicholas came out of the goal and Honorato Rumaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Errando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmar Ariando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Juan Vargas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WISGOTHS and the Chuña AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
