In the 7th match minute, Mulcahy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Peruxu to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes, Empalme FC's Niceto Elequemedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Norberto Javiar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Empalme FC reached it. Paulino Bela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Norberto Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Bela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mario Urdin fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mulcahy AFC's protests and gave Mario Urdin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mulcahy AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Mario Urdin hit a great ball. Paulino Bela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Javiar having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Bela in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Javiar saved Mulcahy AFC from getting behind. Niceto Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Javiar having to interfere. When Paulino Bela came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Empalme FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Bela couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Paulino Bela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Honorato Miro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Norberto Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Bela in the 28th minute of the match. When Santo Oro fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Empalme FC's protests and gave Santo Oro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mulcahy AFC booed when Empalme FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Oro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 played minutes Mulcahy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Arnalt. Norberto Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Bela in the 65th minute of play. Norberto Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Bela, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Paulino Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mulcahy AFC's Norberto Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Bela in the 87th minute of play. Paulino Bela took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Javiar. Norberto Javiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 93rdth minute of the game Niceto Elequemedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mulcahy AFC's Norberto Javiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulino Bela succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Empalme FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
