Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Santo Manny got the match started through his kick off. Eduardo Mingo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Ekaitz in the 7th minute of the match. After 7 played minutes RIVER got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Javiero. Felix Ekaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Mingo having to interfere. Fulgencio Bertran struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Eduardo Mingo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hipopó. Eduardo Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Ekaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Nikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the RIVER defense, Fulgencio Bertran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Mingo. The RIVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Mingo should have stopped the shot. If Jonas Nikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Nikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felix Ekaitz to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Ekaitz in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Mingo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hipopó's Angel Dino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Nikola in the 54th minute of play. Santo Manny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Hipopó's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Manny came free, but Angel Dino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Jacob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, RIVER's Eduardo Mingo got control of the ball when Fulgencio Bertran tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Santo Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hipopó's zone, Jonas Nikola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Dino came out of the goal and Jonas Nikola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Manny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Dino having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jonas Nikola managed to get in a good position for a shot. RIVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Nikola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Dino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santo Manny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Angel Dino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Manny in the 90th minute of play forced Hipopó's goalkeeper Angel Dino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Mingo made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Fulgencio Bertran sent off a good shot on target. Chants of Hipopó echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as RIVER had held the ball for most of the match.
