Macho de la esquina's Elpidio Oxel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Uriel Sayveon but with some difficulty. Uriel Sayveon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Ihintza, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Extremoduro's Roque Eliu got a free kick in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Vinicio Serapio notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Extremoduro's Uriel Sayveon. Uriel Sayveon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute Hector Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinicio Serapio to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinicio Serapio in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uriel Sayveon saved Extremoduro from getting behind. When Vinicio Serapio came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Macho de la esquina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinicio Serapio couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Serapio in the 62nd minute of play forced Extremoduro's goalkeeper Uriel Sayveon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Extremoduro's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Ihintza came free, but Uriel Sayveon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Vinicio Serapio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uriel Sayveon was relentless in the 68th minute of the game.
