Celestino Eleder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Jacob during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Jonathan Jacob got a free kick in the 13th minute. Eduardo Mingo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anier Fernado's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Anier Fernado took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Mingo. Eduardo Mingo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Celso Gizon placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! RIVER's Eduardo Mingo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Fernado in the 30th minute of play. Jonas Nikola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ceferino Eufrasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, RIVER's Santo Manny ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ceferino Eufrasio. Ceferino Eufrasio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Anier Fernado made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Fernado in the 52nd minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Eduardo Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Santo Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Talita getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Natalio Platon hit a great ball. Ceferino Eufrasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Manny, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Jonathan Jacob was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. Jonathan Jacob hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Talita's Emiliano Laurendi tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Anier Fernado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximiliano Peio's late challenge caught a Talita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Peio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, one of RIVER:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RIVER. When the match had been going on for 76 minutes, Talita's Emiliano Laurendi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eduardo Mingo. Anier Fernado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Mingo having to interfere. Eduardo Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Fernado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, RIVER's Eduardo Mingo got control of the ball when Celestino Eleder tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute Anier Fernado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Blasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Eduardo Mingo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
