Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Santo Manny started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute Santo Manny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Koldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Beltran Stars F.C.'s goalkeeper Hector Koldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Nikola. Rafael Pietro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Mingo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Pietro in the 15th minute of the match. A hard shot by Cleto Rufo from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Hector Koldo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hector Koldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Manny in the 21st minute of play. Luisito Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Eduardo Mingo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Jonas Nikola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hector Koldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Manny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Koldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Nikola in the 36th minute. Luisito Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Mingo having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Rafael Pietro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Mingo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Luisito Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Mingo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisito Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Pietro in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Mingo saved RIVER from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Rafael Pietro made the kick off in the second half. If Luisito Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jonas Nikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of RIVER booed when Beltran Stars F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Nikola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Koldo having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Beltran Stars F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Santo Manny came free, but Hector Koldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Ramon Romelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beltran Stars F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RIVER the free kick. A collision led to Beltran Stars F.C. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ramon Romelio hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Luisito Cruz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eduardo Mingo. That made the score 1-3 in the 85 minute of play. Beltran Stars F.C.'s Luisito Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Beltran Stars F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
