Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rogelio Viator started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Mauro Oso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nemesio Napier hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Guaberto Ihintza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeo Sedeni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Macho de la esquina's Bartolo Remigio got a free kick in the 11th minute. Macho de la esquina's Bartolo Remigio got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 17 minutes, Guaberto Ihintza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macho de la esquina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Ihintza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guaberto Ihintza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Sedeni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Rogelio Viator who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Rosendo Abaunza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Guaberto Ihintza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Sedeni having to interfere. Rosendo Abaunza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Viator went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mauro Oso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosendo Abaunza came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Sorocayense's Rogelio Viator. But to his dismay, Rogelio Viator quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Mauro Oso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rosendo Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rogelio Viator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teobaldo Cucao charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobaldo Cucao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Teobaldo Cucao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vinicio Serapio to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sorocayense's goalkeeper Tadeo Sedeni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guaberto Ihintza. Vinicio Serapio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Vinicio Serapio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Vinicio Serapio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macho de la esquina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Serapio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sorocayense's Efrain Chaime got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Sorocayense's Mauro Oso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosendo Abaunza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Macho de la esquina fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sorocayense a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nemesio Napier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Macho de la esquina's Rosendo Abaunza. 3-1. Vinicio Serapio struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Tadeo Sedeni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macho de la esquina. Tadeo Sedeni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Serapio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guaberto Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Tadeo Sedeni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Guaberto Ihintza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macho de la esquina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Ihintza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogelio Viator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rosendo Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Sedeni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Serapio in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92ndth minute of the game Rogelio Viator who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macho de la esquina's Rosendo Abaunza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Rogelio Viator put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rosendo Abaunza. In the 98th minute, Guaberto Ihintza made a precise shot to the right of Tadeo Sedeni. Sorocayense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Sorocayense's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
