In the 5th minute Fulgencio Bertran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Sayveon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fulgencio Bertran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Hipopó getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Enzo Egun hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match, Esteve Macias got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angel Dino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hector Rufio might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Dino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Rufio ran back to his position shaking his head. Uriel Sayveon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Bertran in the 20th minute of play. Filomeno Jaunti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enzo Egun kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Enzo Egun fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hipopó's protests and gave Enzo Egun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Hipopó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Egun to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hipopó's zone, Filomeno Jaunti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Dino came out of the goal and Filomeno Jaunti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulgencio Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Uriel Sayveon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Extremoduro's Uriel Sayveon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Ekaitz in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Extremoduro's Eloy Koldo got a free kick in the 40th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Rufio to make the kick off. Fulgencio Bertran hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Hipopó defense, Eloy Koldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Dino. The Hipopó fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Dino should have stopped the shot. Angel Dino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Rufio in the 57th minute of the match. Felix Ekaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Macias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fulgencio Bertran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uriel Sayveon having to make a save. Felix Ekaitz struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Uriel Sayveon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hipopó. In the 84th minute, Filomeno Jaunti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Hipopó's Felix Ekaitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Sayveon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute Hipopó were awarded a corner. Lucas Bernad went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Enzo Egun got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-1. 91 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Rufio in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Dino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cleto Papo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
