The Hipopó fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Hipopó's goalkeeper Angel Dino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Cutberto. 11 minutes into the match, Bernabe Guter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angel Dino. Hipopó's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Guter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Hipopó's Angel Dino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Hipopó from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Lozano's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Ekaitz came free, but Severo Peruanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Goito struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Angel Dino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lozano. Lozano's Severo Peruanton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Ekaitz in the 32nd minute of play. If Felix Ekaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Peruanton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Ekaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Ekaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severo Peruanton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Ekaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, Hipopó's Lucas Bernad seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lucas Bernad the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hipopó protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lucas Bernad had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hipopó! Angel Dino went to the wrong direction when Erasmo Paz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Fulgencio Bertran made the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Goito might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Dino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 57 played minutes Hipopó got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Papo. After 58 played minutes, Lozano's Erasmo Paz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angel Dino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lozano reached it. Angel Dino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Cutberto in the 59th minute of play. Andres Cutberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Dino having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Andres Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lozano's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Cutberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Dino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Andres Cutberto came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Lozano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Cutberto couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Lozano's zone, Fulgencio Bertran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Peruanton came out of the goal and Fulgencio Bertran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Basilio Marin had to leave the field with a concussion. 84 minutes into the game, Jesus Eneko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hipopó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lozano the free kick. In the 85th minute, Jesus Eneko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Hipopó's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Cutberto came free, but Angel Dino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Bertran got free with Severo Peruanton in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Bertran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Severo Peruanton made a huge save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
