Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lázaro Hotz got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Hotz in the 4th minute of play forced Sporting Club's goalkeeper Juan Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 played minutes Sporting Club got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Gaur. After recieving a nice pass, Artime FC's Baldomiro Domeka tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 11 minutes, Teodoro Rojelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Club and the Artime FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Sporting Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match Baldomiro Domeka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Hegoi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Artemio Odilon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artime FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Odilon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sporting Club's Juan Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Reynardo in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Club's zone, Lázaro Hotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Hegoi came out of the goal and Lázaro Hotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 minutes, Artemio Odilon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Artime FC and the Sporting Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Artime FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Artemio Odilon hit a great ball. Juan Hegoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Hotz in the 32nd minute of the match. If Leopoldo Reynardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Hegoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Chorache, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Lázaro Hotz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sporting Club's Juan Hegoi. Juan Hegoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juan Hegoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lázaro Hotz's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Eduardo Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Alberto Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Teyo in the 76th minute of the match. Leopoldo Reynardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Juan Hegoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Hegoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Hotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Juan Hegoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Hotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
