Amado Cordaryal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 5 minutes, Victorio Frans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honguito FC and the Nike FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nike FC booed when Honguito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Frans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Honguito FC's Aureliano Inguma got a free kick in the 8th minute. Amado Cordaryal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Mundo in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Anastasio Tino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Cordaryal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When German Asier fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honguito FC's protests and gave German Asier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Honguito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Asier to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Honguito FC's zone, Arsenio Mundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Cordaryal came out of the goal and Arsenio Mundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arsenio Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Amado Cordaryal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Mundo in the 28th minute of play forced Honguito FC's goalkeeper Amado Cordaryal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Israel Bartoli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amado Cordaryal. Honguito FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anastasio Tino in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Cordaryal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Honguito FC booed when Nike FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Nofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejo Feliz might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Horado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejo Feliz ran back to his position shaking his head. Alejo Feliz took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejandro Horado. Alejandro Horado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Mundo in the 46th minute of play forced Honguito FC's goalkeeper Amado Cordaryal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anastasio Tino made a kick off. If Arsenio Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Horado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Feliz went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 59 played minutes Honguito FC got a freekick which was hit by German Asier. Alejo Feliz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejo Feliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Honguito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Tino came free, but Amado Cordaryal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nike FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Tino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nike FC's Alejandro Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Feliz in the 90th minute of play.
