Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Flavio Eusko started the match with the kick off. Celso Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Amado Cordaryal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Miraflores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Gombal to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Miraflores's Ramon Benvide got a free kick in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Alejo Feliz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leonardo Castel. In the 22nd minute, Alejo Feliz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honguito FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Honguito FC's Severiano Raymond got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Alejo Feliz notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Miraflores's Leonardo Castel. Leonardo Castel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the game, one of Honguito FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Honguito FC's zone, Celso Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Cordaryal came out of the goal and Celso Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honguito FC's Aureliano Inguma suffered a sore foot after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 47 minutes, Guillermo Gombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miraflores and the Honguito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half Honguito FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Amado Cordaryal came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Miraflores's Flavio Eusko. But to his dismay, Flavio Eusko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Celso Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Celso Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miraflores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Gomez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Celso Gomez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Miraflores's Celso Gomez in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honguito FC's goalie prevented a goal. German Asier kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Celso Gomez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Honguito FC's Victorio Frans got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Ramon Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Honguito FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Honguito FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
