Hermengildo Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Blas Cristos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albano Fidencio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Abella in the 54th minute of play forced Sanagasta FC's goalkeeper Blas Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Florin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Elia in the 56th minute of play. Albano Fidencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blas Cristos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albano Fidencio ran back to his position shaking his head. Blas Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Fidencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 64 played minutes Sanagasta FC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Cisco. 65 minutes into the match, Python's Gualterio Stephen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Reynaldo Abella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Python's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Abella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Cristos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gualterio Stephen charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Stephen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Blas Cristos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blas Cristos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Stephen in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Albano Fidencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Blas Cristos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Python's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
