Nemesio Elizardo started the match with the kick off. Marcos Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Horacio Sindo sent off a good shot on target. Sanagasta FC's Blas Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Elizardo in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of C.S.y D.Pinamar booed when Sanagasta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teo Txurio, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Blas Cristos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Merexildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anacleto Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sanagasta FC's Blas Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Elizardo in the 21st minute of play. Vicente Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Nascimento having to interfere. After 32 played minutes C.S.y D.Pinamar got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Montay. Sanagasta FC's Blas Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Elizardo in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Nemesio Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.S.y D.Pinamar's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Elizardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Cristos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sanagasta FC's Blas Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Merexildo in the 39th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Sanagasta FC booed when C.S.y D.Pinamar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Sanagasta FC's goalkeeper Blas Cristos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Merexildo. Blas Cristos was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Nemesio Elizardo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nemesio Elizardo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Vicente Elia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anacleto Merexildo came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the C.S.y D.Pinamar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Merexildo couldn't finish the play. Nemesio Elizardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Cristos having to interfere. Honorio Endura hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Anacleto Merexildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Blas Cristos made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Sanagasta FC's zone, Nemesio Elizardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Cristos came out of the goal and Nemesio Elizardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blas Cristos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Elizardo in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Elizardo in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Cristos saved Sanagasta FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Sindo in the 94th minute of play forced C.S.y D.Pinamar's goalkeeper Marcos Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.S.y D.Pinamar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
