Saturnino Guifre charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Guifre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes MTD FC got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Guifre. Carmelo Sabin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Nikola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Remigio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Dei made a huge save. Raimundo Manni charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Manni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raimundo Manni hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in MTD FC's zone, Romulo Nikola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Sabin came out of the goal and Romulo Nikola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciriaco Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Ciriaco Dei managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when MTD FC's Domingo Remigio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ciriaco Dei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Urbes in the 33rd minute of play. Romulo Nikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, MTD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Luke came free, but Carmelo Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Basilio Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ciriaco Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

If Isidoro Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ciriaco Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingo Remigio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciriaco Dei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Urbes, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Remigio in the 65th minute of play forced La Patada Cubana's goalkeeper Ciriaco Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Nikola struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Carmelo Sabin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Patada Cubana. If Raimundo Manni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Saturnino Guifre was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, MTD FC's Saturnino Guifre got a free kick in the 85th minute. Blas Cefero was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Romulo Nikola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Carmelo Sabin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Romulo Nikola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Patada Cubana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Nikola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
