Spectators: 7197 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jacinto Poncio took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Vicente Elia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Florentino Macerio came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Sanagasta FC's Horacio Sindo. But to his dismay, Horacio Sindo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12thth minute of the game Jacinto Poncio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanagasta FC's Blas Cristos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Jacinto Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting del Rio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Poncio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gaspar Orlandus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Cristos was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Orlandus in the 23rd minute of play forced Sanagasta FC's goalkeeper Blas Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Sanagasta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Iratxo to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Iratxo charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Iratxo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Sanagasta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Iratxo to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vicente Elia made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Vicente Elia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sanagasta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Elia in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Macerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Vicente Elia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Elia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Florentino Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Sanagasta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Cisco to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Sporting del Rio's Abel Vitin tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Cristian Jayvier fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanagasta FC's protests and gave Cristian Jayvier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Sanagasta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Jayvier to maneuver through the defense. After 81 minutes of play, Sanagasta FC's Vicente Elia made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentino Macerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sanagasta FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sporting del Rio had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
