Albano Fidencio hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Raimundo Manni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elvio Florin. Python's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 5 minutes, Hermengildo Ireno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Python's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Ireno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciriaco Dei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Ireno in the 11th minute of play. Gualterio Stephen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Ireno in the 23rd minute of play forced La Patada Cubana's goalkeeper Ciriaco Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Oso's late challenge caught a Python's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Oso helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes La Patada Cubana got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Oso. Ciriaco Dei made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Albano Fidencio sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the game, Basilio Luke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Patada Cubana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Python the free kick. The supporters of Python booed when La Patada Cubana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Luke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualterio Stephen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reynaldo Abella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ciriaco Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albano Fidencio to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, La Patada Cubana's Blas Cefero got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Albano Fidencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Patada Cubana's zone, Reynaldo Abella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Dei came out of the goal and Reynaldo Abella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Albano Fidencio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Python fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Python's Elvio Florin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Python from getting a goal against them. Ciriaco Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Ireno in the 68th minute of the match. Hermengildo Ireno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Dei having to interfere. Ciriaco Dei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Fidencio in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Patada Cubana's Elias Bertran got a free kick in the 72nd minute. La Patada Cubana's Ciriaco Dei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Ireno in the 73rd minute of play. Hermengildo Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ciriaco Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Ireno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ciriaco Dei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Python had played much better football throughout.
