Sergio Lia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Maraman in the 3rd minute of play. Samuel Suero's late challenge caught a Xeneize's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Suero helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alma Mora's Samuel Suero got a free kick in the 5th minute. Alma Mora's Eloy Iratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Nicholas in the 8th minute of play. Virgilio Montae's late challenge caught a Xeneize's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgilio Montae helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Alma Mora getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Virgilio Montae hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Nicholas in the 11th minute of play forced Alma Mora's goalkeeper Eloy Iratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Nicholas in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Iratze saved Alma Mora from getting behind. Segundo Nicholas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eloy Iratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Iratze was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Gaston Porfirio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaston Porfirio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 21st minute, one of Alma Mora:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alma Mora. The goalkeeper, Eloy Iratze, was totally fooled by Xeneize's Julio Millrick, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Alma Mora booed when Xeneize was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Nicholas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xeneize's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Porfirio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Iratze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Alonzo Celino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alma Mora fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

In the 55th minute, Gaston Porfirio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Segundo Nicholas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Iratze having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Segundo Nicholas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Iratze was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Alma Mora's Eloy Iratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Hernandez in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Dario Blai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xeneize's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alma Mora the free kick. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Xeneize! Eloy Iratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Millrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes Alma Mora got a freekick which was hit by Siro Santiago. In the 69th minute Francisco Hernandez suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Siro Santiago charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siro Santiago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xeneize's Uriel Cordareo was substituted for Francisco Hernandez. The supporters of Xeneize booed when Alma Mora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Segundo Nicholas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eloy Iratze was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Eloy Iratze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Segundo Nicholas's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The supporters of Xeneize booed when Alma Mora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Gaston Porfirio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eloy Iratze showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Segundo Nicholas took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Iratze. Eloy Iratze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. In the 83rd minute, Julio Millrick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Segundo Nicholas in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Iratze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Xeneize's Julio Millrick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eloy Iratze narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Xeneize fully deserved thier win.
