In the 22ndth minute of the game Fermin Merexildo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ahoniken's Pascual Chale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Etxahun in the 23rd minute of play forced Ahoniken's goalkeeper Pascual Chale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hansen AFC's Alfonso Sabin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Hansen AFC from getting a goal against them. Pascual Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Etxahun in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Ahoniken booed when Hansen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Mendebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahoniken's Pascual Chale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Etxahun in the 44th minute of play. In the 48th minute Fermin Merexildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Chale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Edgardo Etxahun made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ahoniken's Pascual Chale got control of the ball when Fermin Merexildo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahoniken's Pascual Chale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Etxahun in the 56th minute of play. Fermin Merexildo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Hansen AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fermin Merexildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Pascual Chale made a huge save. The supporters of Hansen AFC booed when Ahoniken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Alejo Martxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hansen AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Martxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Sauveur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Sabin having to make a save. Alfonso Sabin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Etxahun in the 76th minute of play forced Ahoniken's goalkeeper Pascual Chale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Etxahun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Pascual Chale made a huge save. Manuel Sauveur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Sabin having to make a save. Edgardo Etxahun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fermin Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Etxahun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Israel Telesforo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
