Spectators: 5002 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1001, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Segundo Nicholas took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Segundo Nicholas put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ramiro Felipillo. 6 minutes into the game, Aureliano Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Banfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xeneize the free kick. The supporters of Xeneize booed when Club Atletico Banfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atletico Banfield's Ramiro Felipillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Banfield from getting a goal against them. Sergio Lia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Gartxot in the 9th minute of play. Ramiro Felipillo made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Julio Millrick sent off a good shot on target. Ramiro Felipillo was a little too slow when Julio Millrick got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Xeneize's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Burutzagi came free, but Sergio Lia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Segundo Nicholas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Felipillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ramiro Felipillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Nicholas in the 26th minute of play. Jairo Gartxot struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Sergio Lia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Banfield. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Nicholas in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Felipillo saved Club Atletico Banfield from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Segundo Nicholas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiro Felipillo was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. If Leonel Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Felipillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Nicholas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Gaston Porfirio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Atletico Banfield's Ramiro Felipillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Banfield from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

If Segundo Nicholas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Segundo Nicholas in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Felipillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Segundo Nicholas took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Felipillo. Ramiro Felipillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Xeneize's Sergio Lia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Xeneize from getting a goal against them. After 66 played minutes Club Atletico Banfield got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Gartxot. Ramiro Felipillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Millrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Lia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Gartxot in the 69th minute of the match. Segundo Nicholas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramiro Felipillo having to make a save. Club Atletico Banfield's Jairo Gartxot got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Segundo Nicholas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Ramiro Felipillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ramiro Felipillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Nicholas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Eusebio Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Xeneize fully deserved thier win.
