Clodoveo Viviano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Distiratsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Ariel Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Felix Goiz came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the C.A.Temperley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Goiz couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Distiratsu in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clodoveo Viviano saved C.A.Temperley from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Goiz was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Temperley's zone, Ariel Rivero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Viviano came out of the goal and Ariel Rivero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Raul Distiratsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clodoveo Viviano was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 56th match minute, Brinkman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Petrigai to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of C.A.Temperley booed when Brinkman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Petrigai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Distiratsu scored 1-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clodoveo Viviano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ariel Rivero during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Brinkman fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. C.A.Temperley's Clodoveo Viviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Rivero in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Distiratsu in the 89th minute of play forced C.A.Temperley's goalkeeper Clodoveo Viviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Viviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Rivero in the 91st minute of play. Clodoveo Viviano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Distiratsu's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Teodosio Atarrabi was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, C.A.Temperley's Teodosio Atarrabi got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, C.A.Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Distiratsu came free, but Clodoveo Viviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Brinkman walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
