The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pascual Chale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Manuel Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Leoiar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascual Chale having to make a save. Hernan Hats kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Manuel Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahoniken's Manuel Sauveur got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltasar Leoiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 minutes of play, Caroya Norte's Gonzalo Galindo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Chale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manuel Sauveur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Marko having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Caroya Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Socorro to maneuver through the defense. When Julian Urre fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ahoniken's protests and gave Julian Urre a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ahoniken getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Julian Urre hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Baltasar Leoiar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pascual Chale. The goal made the score 2-0. After 36 played minutes Caroya Norte got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Mambru. Zacarias Domingues took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Marko. Cipriano Marko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Ahoniken getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gilberto Norino hit a great ball. Ahoniken's Pascual Chale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Ahoniken from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Ahoniken's zone, Gonzalo Galindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascual Chale came out of the goal and Gonzalo Galindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baltasar Leoiar to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Florencio Taurino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cipriano Marko. The goal made the score 2-2. When Gonzalo Galindo fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gonzalo Galindo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Caroya Norte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Galindo couldn't finish the play. Manuel Sauveur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Cipriano Marko made a huge save. Zacarias Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Marko having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Caroya Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Beliran to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Marko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Domingues in the 82nd minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
