Clodoveo Viviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Etxahun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Hansen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Telesforo. Clodoveo Viviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Etxahun in the 27th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Hansen AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Goiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 81 minutes of play, C.A.Temperley's Felix Goiz made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Sabin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Temperley's zone, Fermin Merexildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Viviano came out of the goal and Fermin Merexildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Fermin Merexildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Etxahun succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. In the 96th minute, Apolo Lain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A.Temperley had won after a very even match.
