Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felix Goiz started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, C.A.Temperley's Teodosio Atarrabi got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Jairo Gartxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, C.A.Temperley's goalkeeper Clodoveo Viviano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Burutzagi. Jairo Gartxot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, C.A.Temperley's Clodoveo Viviano got control of the ball when Rafael Burutzagi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justino Lorenz struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ramiro Felipillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Temperley. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justino Lorenz during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Atletico Banfield booed when C.A.Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Lorenz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Lorenz in the 20th minute of play forced Club Atletico Banfield's goalkeeper Ramiro Felipillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Banfield's zone, Felix Goiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Felipillo came out of the goal and Felix Goiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Goiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ramiro Felipillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Justino Lorenz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ramiro Felipillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Rafael Burutzagi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Goiz in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Felipillo saved Club Atletico Banfield from getting behind. Jairo Gartxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Clodoveo Viviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justino Lorenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Felipillo having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jairo Gartxot to strike the kick off in the second half. Club Atletico Banfield's Ramiro Felipillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Goiz in the 53rd minute of play. Clodoveo Viviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Burutzagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justino Lorenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ramiro Felipillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jairo Gartxot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clodoveo Viviano was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Ramiro Felipillo came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Temperley's Felix Goiz. But to his dismay, Felix Goiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jairo Gartxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Clodoveo Viviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justino Lorenz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramiro Felipillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Felix Goiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Felipillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Arias hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 74 played minutes C.A.Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Nayely. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Banfield's Aureliano Arias got a free kick in the 77th minute. Clodoveo Viviano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Gartxot in the 80th minute of the match. Justino Lorenz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ramiro Felipillo made a huge save. The supporters of C.A.Temperley booed when Club Atletico Banfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A.Temperley's Jorge Montez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Atletico Banfield. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Banfield's goalkeeper Ramiro Felipillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C.A.Temperley's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
