The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Panait Crașovan made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Hipolito Crispo sent off a good shot on target. After 26 played minutes NFCV got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Bartolome. In the 38th minute, Hipolito Crispo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panait Crașovan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 41st match minute, Independiente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Fertus to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, NFCV's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Raymond came free, but Panait Crașovan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolfo de Sena was the one to do the kick off. Rodolfo de Sena was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. NFCV's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Amadeo Luzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Barto having to interfere. Godofredo Lucero's late challenge caught a Independiente FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Lucero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Godofredo Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 minutes of play, NFCV's Rodolfo de Sena made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucio Barto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnulfo Bartolome's late challenge caught a Independiente FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Bartolome helped the player get up and apologised. Arnulfo Bartolome hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the NFCV defense, Hipolito Crispo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panait Crașovan. The NFCV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panait Crașovan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Lonzo in the 87th minute of play forced NFCV's goalkeeper Panait Crașovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes, Raimundo Mannuel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NFCV and the Independiente FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raimundo Mannuel kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Independiente FC fully deserved thier win.
