In the 44th minute of the match Patricio Videl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodosio Gora skillfully saved the ball. Fabian Benet's late challenge caught a Belisle Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Benet helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Cultural Gerli's Fabian Benet got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half Belisle Team were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Steven stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Modestio having to interfere. In the 57thth minute of the game Cayetano Steven who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Cultural Gerli's Teodosio Gora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saverio Rius was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 59th match minute, Belisle Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Urtats to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Saverio Rius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belisle Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Rius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Saverio Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Rius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Steven got free with Teodosio Gora in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Saverio Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Hugo Quinito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Cayetano Steven made a precise shot to the right of Teodosio Gora. Club Cultural Gerli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Serafino Chaime hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 0-5 became the score in the 96th minute when Cayetano Steven elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Belisle Team's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
