Luciano Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. A collision led to Figueroa AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. German Arnau hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes, PSI 97's Pastor Nastasio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luciano Navarro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PSI 97 reached it. In the 14th minute Domingos Laurgain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Presebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gaspar Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Gaspar Olivar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Figueroa AFC's zone, Damian Lano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Navarro came out of the goal and Damian Lano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Damian Lano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Domingos Laurgain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Laurgain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fabricio Presebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marciano Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingos Laurgain to strike the kick off in the second half. Domingos Laurgain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabricio Presebal having to make a save. Marciano Avellaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Presebal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PSI 97's Teo Cuarto got a free kick in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Figueroa AFC's Albino Senon got a free kick in the 57th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Gaspar Olivar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSI 97's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Olivar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luciano Navarro came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by PSI 97's Damian Lano. But to his dismay, Damian Lano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Figueroa AFC's Luciano Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Figueroa AFC from getting a goal against them. Domingos Laurgain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Figueroa AFC's Luciano Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Lano in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PSI 97 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
