Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gavino Goiz started the match with the kick off. Fabio Maria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Goiz in the 10th minute of the match. When Urbano Berart fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mavericks's protests and gave Urbano Berart a yellow card for diving instead. Urbano Berart kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the game's 19th minute Merlongas's Victor Guillerme took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Melquiades Videl and thus the score was 0-1. Melquiades Videl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Uhin in the 26th minute of play. After 33 minutes Mavericks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor Guillerme who took care of the corner kick. Fabio Maria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Iliana in the 39th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Uhin to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Gavino Goiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Maria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Melquiades Videl managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Merlongas's Daniel Rocio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 57 played minutes Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Jorrin. Felix Uhin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Videl having to interfere. If Felix Uhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Uhin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Felix Uhin came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Merlongas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Uhin couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Videl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Uhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Daniel Rocio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Videl having to interfere. Melquiades Videl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Uhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
