Primitivo Bihar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anier Estebano. Lobos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 8th minute Astor Lorien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lobos's Albano Lopez got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Pablo Barea came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Boca Jrs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Barea couldn't finish the play. Amadeo Mano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Amadeo Mano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Raimundo Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Abel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Raimundo Abel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lobos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Astor Lorien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Lobos's Anier Estebano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Lobos from getting a goal against them. Albano Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Anier Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Barea in the 73rd minute of the match. Alfredo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Mano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Amadeo Mano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Romero having to interfere. Boca Jrs's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
