After a rather tough play, Boca Jrs's Primitivo Bihar got a free kick in the 16th minute. Albino Ekialde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alfredo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emanuel Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Barraquero's goalkeeper Gabriel Raebert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astor Lorien. Albino Ekialde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alfredo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Ekialde in the 29th minute of play forced Boca Jrs's goalkeeper Alfredo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Albino Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Placido Rodas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emanuel Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Valerio might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Valerio ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

53 minutes into the match, Boca Jrs's goalkeeper Alfredo Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Valerio. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Jrs's zone, Alfredo Lorencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Romero came out of the goal and Alfredo Lorencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Raebert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Astor Lorien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Raebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Valerio in the 63rd minute of the match. Barraquero's Alfredo Lorencio got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Boca Jrs's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emanuel Valerio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Barraquero's Nicolas Llanos got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boca Jrs's Alfredo Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Valerio in the 72nd minute of play. Alfredo Romero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albino Ekialde showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 73 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Boca Jrs's Pablo Barea got a free kick in the 76th minute. Alfredo Lorencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emanuel Valerio came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Barraquero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Valerio couldn't finish the play. Pablo Barea scored 2-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Raebert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodrigo Dalmau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Nicolas Llanos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pablo Barea hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, Barraquero failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
