Maximino Cresconio made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Pastor Iliana sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the match, Tunales FC's goalkeeper Maximino Cresconio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Iliana. 13 minutes into the match, Mavericks's Mauricio Sanson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximino Cresconio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfonso Quin kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Gavino Goiz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Barbosa came free, but Melquiades Videl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Havier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Videl having to interfere. When Mauricio Sanson fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mavericks's protests and gave Mauricio Sanson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Mauricio Sanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tunales FC's zone, Gavino Goiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Cresconio came out of the goal and Gavino Goiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Adrian Havier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mavericks's Melquiades Videl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pablo Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Videl having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Rafael Chorache was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mavericks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tunales FC the free kick. Rafael Chorache kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tunales FC's Maximino Cresconio got control of the ball when Pastor Iliana tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gavino Goiz to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Pastor Iliana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximino Cresconio. Tunales FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pastor Iliana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 58th minute, Carlos Ciceron reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Melquiades Videl. The goal made the score 1-1. Maximino Cresconio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Iliana, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Melquiades Videl successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Pablo Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Tunales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Iliana came free, but Maximino Cresconio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gavino Goiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mavericks's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Goiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Cresconio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
