Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Astor Lorien came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Boca Jrs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Lorien couldn't finish the play. Pastor Iliana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alfredo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Boca Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Maore. When Gavino Goiz came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Mavericks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Goiz couldn't finish the play. If Astor Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Boca Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Goiz came free, but Alfredo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Mavericks's Pastor Iliana made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mavericks's Melquiades Videl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Mavericks from getting a goal against them. Astor Lorien could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Melquiades Videl made a huge save. 28 minutes into the game, Boca Jrs's Astor Lorien nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Videl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Boca Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Iliana came free, but Alfredo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pastor Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 40 played minutes Boca Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Mendez. In the 44th minute Pastor Iliana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gavino Goiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Videl came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Jrs's Pablo Barea. But to his dismay, Pablo Barea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 59 played minutes Boca Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Maore. If Gavino Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gavino Goiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mavericks's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Goiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gavino Goiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute of the match Silvestre Bernat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Romero skillfully saved the ball. If Gavino Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Gavino Goiz took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Alfredo Romero to make any attempt to save it. 83 minutes into the match, Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Barea came free, but Melquiades Videl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Barea in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Videl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th match minute, Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Sanson to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Goiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pablo Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
