La Primavera's Arnaldo Demesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Videl in the 11th minute of play. Arnaldo Demesio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bonifacio Videl's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Diego Iruinea's late challenge caught a Barraquero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Iruinea helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Primavera's Diego Iruinea got a free kick in the 16th minute. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bonifacio Videl sped through La Primavera's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnaldo Demesio. Barraquero's Nicolas Llanos pulled a muscle in his leg after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Diego Iruinea was shown his second yellow card after 21 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 23rd match minute, La Primavera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Iruinea to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Ramone hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match Adolfo Luke sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Demesio skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bonifacio Videl in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Demesio saved La Primavera from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, La Primavera's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Videl came free, but Arnaldo Demesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Barraquero's Bonifacio Videl in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Primavera's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Bonifacio Videl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barraquero's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Videl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Demesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnaldo Demesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Valerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes La Primavera got a freekick which was hit by Guido Mikelar. Barraquero's Adolfo Luke couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for La Primavera. The La Primavera players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barraquero were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Videl to make the kick off. With a little luck, La Primavera's Arnaldo Demesio got control of the ball when Bonifacio Videl tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Barraquero getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Manuel Peru hit a great ball. When Mariano Oliverio came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the La Primavera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Oliverio couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Lorencio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 63rd playminute. With a little luck, La Primavera's Arnaldo Demesio got control of the ball when Bonifacio Videl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bonifacio Videl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Arnaldo Demesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barraquero's Rodrigo Dalmau got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bonifacio Videl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Demesio having to interfere. If Bonifacio Videl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Videl's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Arnaldo Demesio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rodrigo Dalmau scored 0-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Demesio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Bonifacio Videl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Videls short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Arnaldo Demesio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the final whistle sounded Barraquero left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Primavera.
