After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Adrian Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tunales FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Havier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Demesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Barbosa in the 11th minute of play forced La Primavera's goalkeeper Arnaldo Demesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Adrian Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tunales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Havier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17th play minutes Pablo Barbosa shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Arnaldo Demesio and just under the crossbar into goal. Maximino Cresconio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Gaizkine's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Juan Gaizkine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Maximino Cresconio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Cresconio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Gaizkine showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. Arnaldo Demesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Barbosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Demesio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Barbosa ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Gaizkine made a kick off. Pablo Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Arnaldo Demesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Havier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Demesio having to interfere. If Mariano Oliverio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tunales FC's zone, Juan Gaizkine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Cresconio came out of the goal and Juan Gaizkine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Havier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 minutes, Inocencio Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Primavera and the Tunales FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Primavera fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Arnaldo Demesio, was totally fooled by Tunales FC's Rene Viviano, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Arnaldo Demesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The supporters of Tunales FC booed when La Primavera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Gonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Havier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Demesio having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Iruinea during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st match minute, La Primavera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Iruinea to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th match minute, Tunales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Raitin to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute of the match Guido Mikelar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximino Cresconio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pablo Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Demesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Tunales FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Primavera.
