Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pirquitas's Dante Tibalt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fermin Cerilo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Jon's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. When Victorino Satordi came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Rio Cuarto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Satordi couldn't finish the play. With his leg Fermin Cerilo managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Rio Cuarto's Victorino Satordi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Christian Jon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Fermin Cerilo 14 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Rio Cuarto defense, Dante Tibalt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Ramone. The Rio Cuarto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Ramone should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Rio Cuarto's Ildefonso Arias got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Christian Jon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Victorino Satordi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Cuarto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Pirquitas's Fermin Cerilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Jon in the 36th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Fermin Cerilo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Victorino Satordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Cerilo having to interfere. Fermin Cerilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Pirquitas's Mario Federigo got a free kick in the 44th minute. Christian Jon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute, Cristobal Leguizamón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Jon to make the kick off. Christian Jon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Cerilo having to interfere. Victorino Satordi might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermin Cerilo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorino Satordi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Jonatan Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Jon struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Fermin Cerilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Cuarto. In the 82ndth minute of the game Victorino Satordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirquitas's Fermin Cerilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Jon's late challenge caught a Pirquitas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Jon helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Christian Jon. In the 85th match minute, Pirquitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Otsando to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute of the match Claudio Criston shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fermin Cerilo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Christian Jon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Victorino Satordi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Cuarto's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Satordi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Cerilo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Rio Cuarto's Victorino Satordi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fermin Cerilo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christian Jon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudio Criston shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When the referee ended the match the Rio Cuarto players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
