A collision led to Caute FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rafael Jerrold hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Caute FC's zone, Maximino Eleder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Ulizes came out of the goal and Maximino Eleder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Garikoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Baldomero Garikoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Eleazar. Hernández AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomero Garikoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Abel Eleazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Pedroso's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Abel Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Rami, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ceferino Ulizes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Eleder in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Hernández AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Justo Estavan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Pedroso in the 33rd minute of play forced Hernández AFC's goalkeeper Abel Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was beautiful to see Caute FC's Mauricio Rami in action when he in the 38th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 40th minute Raimundo Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Eleazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Garikoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernández AFC's Abel Eleazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Jerrold in the 45th minute of play. Abel Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Pedroso in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Pedroso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Abel Eleazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Garikoitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Abel Eleazar made a huge save. The long shot by Mauricio Rami in the 63rd minute really tested Abel Eleazar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Caute FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Eleder came free, but Ceferino Ulizes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Eleazar made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Baldomero Garikoitz sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th match minute, Caute FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Erruki to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Oihenarte couldn't finish the play. Baldomero Garikoitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Abel Eleazar made a huge save. The supporters of Hernández AFC booed when Caute FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Erruki didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Caute FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Eleder came free, but Ceferino Ulizes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernández AFC's Abel Eleazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Pedroso in the 93rd minute of play. The Hernández AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Caute FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Caute FC.
