In the 3rd minute of the match Gogo Dolfo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enzo Etxekopar skillfully saved the ball. After 7 minutes of play, Jaqüé FC's Edgardo Gaitano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herminio Edorta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgardo Gaitano struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Herminio Edorta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaqüé FC. When Jaime Rosalio fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medrano AFC's protests and gave Jaime Rosalio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Jaime Rosalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herminio Edorta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Gaitano in the 25th minute of play. Edgardo Gaitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 32 minutes, Edgardo Gaitano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaqüé FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Gaitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Jaqüé FC's Edgardo Gaitano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herminio Edorta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Gogo Dolfo lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Medrano AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Jaqüé FC. Santiago Min stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Herminio Edorta. 0-4. When Elias Pirro fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaqüé FC's protests and gave Elias Pirro a yellow card for diving instead. If Fernando Loco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Loco was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Medrano AFC's Herminio Edorta got control of the ball when Edgardo Gaitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Jaqüé FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gervasio Pio hit a great ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jaqüé FC's goalkeeper Enzo Etxekopar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Medrano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Lleir to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Loco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Enzo Etxekopar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard, long distance shot from Marcial Oskarbi flew over the goal. Fernando Loco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Etxekopar having to interfere. In the 74th minute of the match Ruperto Orzaize shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enzo Etxekopar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gervasio Pio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Santiago Min sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Medrano AFC's Herminio Edorta didn't even have to move. Fernando Loco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Enzo Etxekopar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gervasio Pio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaqüé FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Pio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Edorta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elias Pirro was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Elias Pirro kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
