The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Joey helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La nueva 12's Gerardo Joey got a free kick in the 6th minute. 16 minutes into the game, LOS PIBES FC's Guillermo Eleazar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romulo Urtungo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Serafino Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Joey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LOS PIBES FC's Serafino Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Joey in the 22nd minute of play. La nueva 12's Gerardo Joey got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, La nueva 12's Filomeno Pancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafino Rencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Nesto in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Urtungo saved La nueva 12 from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Teodoro Nesto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romulo Urtungo having to make a save. Gerardo Joey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Rencio having to interfere. LOS PIBES FC's Serafino Rencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save LOS PIBES FC from getting a goal against them. Romulo Urtungo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Nesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. LOS PIBES FC had won after a very even match.
