Guillermo Eleazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Edorta having to interfere. Fernando Loco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Lleir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Serafino Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Lleir in the 16th minute of play. Marciano Berto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Edorta having to interfere. Ubaldo Liher hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The supporters of LOS PIBES FC booed when Medrano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Rosalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafino Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Lleir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Matias Lleir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Medrano AFC's zone, Teodoro Nesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Edorta came out of the goal and Teodoro Nesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafino Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Lleir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Lleir was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, LOS PIBES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Liher to maneuver through the defense. If Matias Lleir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Loco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafino Rencio having to make a save. Matias Lleir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Loco in the 62nd minute of play forced LOS PIBES FC's goalkeeper Serafino Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Fernando Loco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medrano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Loco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Loco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafino Rencio having to make a save. Matias Lleir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Serafino Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fernando Loco came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Medrano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Loco couldn't finish the play. Matias Lleir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, LOS PIBES FC's Ubaldo Liher got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Medrano AFC's Jonathan Santo tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Teodoro Nesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Herminio Edorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as LOS PIBES FC's Guillermo Eleazar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herminio Edorta. That made the score 0-1 after 85 minutes of play. Matias Lleir struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Serafino Rencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medrano AFC. Jaime Rosalio's late challenge caught a LOS PIBES FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Rosalio helped the player get up and apologised. Jaime Rosalio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Nesto in the 94th minute of play forced Medrano AFC's goalkeeper Herminio Edorta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chants of LOS PIBES FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Medrano AFC had held the ball for most of the match.
