The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Serafino Rencio stood somewhat misplaced when Paulino Koldobika came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 8 minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Paulino Koldobika who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS PIBES FC's Serafino Rencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonel Giraldo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Serafino Rencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guillon FC. A collision led to LOS PIBES FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ildefonso Gipuzkoa hit a great ball. Edgardo Cordarrol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Rencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. When Edgardo Cordarrol came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Guillon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Cordarrol couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute Paulino Koldobika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Rencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Nesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Guillon FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LOS PIBES FC:s goal. Hermengildo Frederico had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Ildefonso Gipuzkoa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

54 minutes into the match, Guillermo Eleazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermengildo Frederico. Guillon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillermo Eleazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 63 minutes LOS PIBES FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jesus Orti who took care of the corner kick. Leonel Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Rencio having to interfere. Amancio Merexildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Rencio having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Paulino Koldobika had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafino Rencio. LOS PIBES FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Koldobika was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Serafino Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Koldobika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafino Rencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulino Koldobika went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Guillon FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
