Spectators: 6700 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hermengildo Fertus took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Paulo Soter came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Anguinán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Soter couldn't finish the play. Enzo Etxekopar made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Paulo Soter sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, Jaqüé FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Chap came free, but Enzo Etxekopar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Jaqüé FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hermengildo Fertus fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Paulo Soter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Enzo Etxekopar made a huge save. Gregorio Aznaro's late challenge caught a Jaqüé FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Aznaro helped the player get up and apologised. Edgardo Gaitano struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Melquiades Barrionuevo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaqüé FC. Gervasio Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Barrionuevo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Gaitano in the 37th minute of play forced Anguinán's goalkeeper Melquiades Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Anguinán's zone, Gervasio Pio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Barrionuevo came out of the goal and Gervasio Pio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edgardo Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Gaitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Barrionuevo having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gervasio Pio made a kick off. Enzo Etxekopar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermengildo Fertus's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Melquiades Barrionuevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Pio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melquiades Barrionuevo had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Santiago Min's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a little luck, Anguinán's Melquiades Barrionuevo got control of the ball when Edgardo Gaitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Jaqüé FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Fertus came free, but Enzo Etxekopar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Jaqüé FC defense, Paulo Soter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Etxekopar. The Jaqüé FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Etxekopar should have stopped the shot. In the 96th match minute, Anguinán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Menendo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Anguinán's Melquiades Barrionuevo got control of the ball when Edgardo Gaitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anguinán's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
