Jorge Lastur might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Barrionuevo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Lastur ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Anguinán's zone, Jorge Lastur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Barrionuevo came out of the goal and Jorge Lastur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Melquiades Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Jorge Lastur made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Anguinán's Melquiades Barrionuevo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Anguinán's Urbano Evangelista got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Jorge Lastur got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Paulo Soter struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Jeremias Aurre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anguinán. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Lastur to make the kick off. If Jorge Lastur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillermo Chap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremias Aurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Fertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Hermengildo Fertus might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Aurre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Fertus ran back to his position shaking his head. Timoteo Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Paulo Soter notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of salva's Jeremias Aurre. Jeremias Aurre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Jeremias Aurre managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Anguinán's Paulo Soter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. salva's Jorge Lastur got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 83 minutes, Nicolas Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. salva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Benino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Lastur in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Barrionuevo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, salva's goalkeeper Jeremias Aurre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Soter. Paulo Soter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
