Joaquin Hug started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Los Disociados's zone, Paulo Soter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Lain came out of the goal and Paulo Soter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermengildo Fertus might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Lain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Fertus ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Disociados's goalkeeper Bruno Lain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bruno Lain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Fertus in the 12th minute of play. If Paulo Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Fertus in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Lain saved Los Disociados from getting behind. Bruno Lain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Soter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bruno Lain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Hermengildo Fertus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Lain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Lain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Soter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Vellito got free with Melquiades Barrionuevo in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 minutes, Guaberto Fix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Disociados and the Anguinán players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Guaberto Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Anguinán's zone, Joaquin Hug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Barrionuevo came out of the goal and Joaquin Hug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermengildo Fertus was the one to do the kick off. Martin Goiz kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Bruno Lain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Fertus in the 61st minute of the match. Paulo Soter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Disociados's Joaquin Hug got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guaberto Fix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Barrionuevo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Soter got free with Bruno Lain in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Fertus in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Lain saved Los Disociados from getting behind. 87 minutes into the game, Los Disociados's Guaberto Fix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Barrionuevo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 90th minute, Paulo Soter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anguinán's Hermengildo Fertus got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Anguinán players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Disociados.
