After having played for 22 minutes, Pascual Etxatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Etxatxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremias Aurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Etxatxu in the 23rd minute of the match. The Lion FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. salva were winning 0-1.

The supporters of Lion FC booed when salva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Raitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pascual Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes of play, Lion FC's Pascual Etxatxu made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Aurre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pascual Etxatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Paolo Domenec came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Lion FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Domenec couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lion FC had played much better football throughout.
