Astor Bartuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Lion FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Pascual Etxatxu hit a great ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Guillermo Betadur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Betadur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Erubiel Precioso fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medrano AFC's protests and gave Erubiel Precioso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Erubiel Precioso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lion FC's Pascual Etxatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Lleir in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Medrano AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gogo Dolfo hit a great ball. Diego Belmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Lleir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Edorta having to interfere. If Pascual Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Rosalio in the 32nd minute of the match. Medrano AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Pascual Etxatxu scored to the left of an out of position Herminio Edorta, making the score, 1-0. Herminio Edorta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Jerico hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Jaime Rosalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascual Etxatxu in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Edorta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bonifacio Maurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Herminio Edorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Etxatxu in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Edorta saved Medrano AFC from getting behind. Medrano AFC's Herminio Edorta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Medrano AFC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute, Bonifacio Maurino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Medrano AFC's Herminio Edorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Etxatxu in the 53rd minute of play. Pascual Etxatxu took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herminio Edorta. Herminio Edorta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Pascual Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute, Jaime Rosalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Medrano AFC's zone, Pascual Etxatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Edorta came out of the goal and Pascual Etxatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Medrano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Maurino came free, but Herminio Edorta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascual Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albino Asier kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With a little luck, Lion FC's Diego Belmiro got control of the ball when Erubiel Precioso tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Pascual Etxatxu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Herminio Edorta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Medrano AFC's Herminio Edorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Etxatxu in the 73rd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Pascual Etxatxu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herminio Edorta was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Medrano AFC's zone, Pascual Etxatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Edorta came out of the goal and Pascual Etxatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matias Lleir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Belmiro having to interfere. When Lion FC's Pascual Etxatxu in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Medrano AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Pascual Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Herminio Edorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, Lion FC's Anier Jerico made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herminio Edorta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lion FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
