In the 4th minute Hermengildo Fertus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Pascual Etxatxu put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Melquiades Barrionuevo. In the 11th minute, Pascual Etxatxu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Melquiades Barrionuevo. The goal made the score 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Etxatxu in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Barrionuevo saved Anguinán from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Melquiades Barrionuevo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Conrado Frederik fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anguinán's protests and gave Conrado Frederik a yellow card for diving instead. Conrado Frederik hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Melquiades Barrionuevo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Guillermo Betadur succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 27th playminute. After a rather tough play, Anguinán's Gonzalo Endira got a free kick in the 30th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Melquiades Barrionuevo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anguinán's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pascual Etxatxu 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Lion FC's Diego Belmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Fertus in the 43rd minute of play. When Anier Jerico fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lion FC's protests and gave Anier Jerico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Anier Jerico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anguinán's Melquiades Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Etxatxu in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 57thth minute of the game Pascual Etxatxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anguinán's Melquiades Barrionuevo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Bonifacio Maurino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Maurino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Barrionuevo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Belmiro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gonzalo Endira. Melquiades Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Etxatxu in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Casimiro Efren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melquiades Barrionuevo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anier Jerico got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Lion FC's Anier Jerico got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute, Pascual Etxatxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bonifacio Maurino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pascual Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Chap kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Paulo Soter charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Soter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lion FC booed when Anguinán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Soter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Soter in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diego Belmiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Anguinán's zone, Bonifacio Maurino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Barrionuevo came out of the goal and Bonifacio Maurino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Pascual Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Belmiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hermengildo Fertus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 96 minute of play.
