Hernan Sidoro's late challenge caught a Los Piojos F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Sidoro helped the player get up and apologised. Hernan Sidoro kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panacón AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Lucian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hugo Tebaldo sped through Panacón AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rosendo Lucian. Rosendo Lucian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Raimundo Osorio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Hechter during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, one of Los Piojos F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Piojos F.C.. Guaberto Telesforo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Bladi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugo Tebaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rosendo Lucian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Rosendo Lop was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Piojos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panacón AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Los Piojos F.C.'s Rosendo Lop got a free kick in the 95th minute.
