The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Panacón AFC's Maximo Janpier got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Perchel FC booed when Panacón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Perchel FC's Bonifacio Panfilo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rosendo Lucian. Rosendo Lucian yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Panacón AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Lucian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacio Panfilo. Mateo Frasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Bladi in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Perchel FC's Lázaro Bortzaioriz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Lázaro Bortzaioriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Lucian having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Evaristo Bladi made the kick off in the second half. Bonifacio Panfilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Bortzaioriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Lucian having to interfere. Rosendo Lucian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Bortzaioriz in the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Bonifacio Panfilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perchel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Panfilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Lucian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute of the match David Gonchan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rosendo Lucian showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Maximo Janpier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panacón AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Janpier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mateo Frasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Bladi in the 75th minute of the match. With his leg Mateo Frasco managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Panacón AFC's Maximo Janpier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Panacón AFC's Rosendo Lucian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Panfilo in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Evaristo Bladi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bonifacio Panfilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Lucian having to interfere.
