If Felipe Banegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Baumar charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualterio Baumar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 24 minutes into the match, Perchel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Eguntsenti came free, but Mateo Frasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bonifacio Panfilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipe Banegas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Mateo Frasco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Teodosio Eguntsenti came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Deportivo Justicialista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio Eguntsenti couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Perchel FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Moises Hanni hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Perchel FC's zone, Teodosio Eguntsenti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Frasco came out of the goal and Teodosio Eguntsenti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Perchel FC's Damaso Chorache got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lázaro Bortzaioriz was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Perchel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Piorno to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Panfilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulrik Enegren having to interfere. Teodosio Eguntsenti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Deportivo Justicialista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Neto to maneuver through the defense. Perchel FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
